Let us rewind time back into the 18th century of the Rococo era, emerged from the heart of France known as the late baroque, where artists playfully created witty works of art from paintings, literature, music, and architecture in the most graceful manner. UBCLE kindly invites you to “leRococo”, a walk-in event with live music from various performers and an art gallery filled with the works of talented artists to allow you to enjoy the atmosphere of the Rococo.
Dwell in the music, submerge in the artworks, be inspired and don`t be surprised to find guests with similar interests as yourself.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
There is a limited 35 people capacity at the venue therefore as people come and go we may only be able to sell tickets to a limited amount of people during different time periods of the event depending on the number of participants. Sorry for any inconvenience as this is a walk-in event.

等等主義研究社UBC Literature Etc. (UBCLE) 是加拿大溫哥華英屬哥倫比亞大學 (UBC) 第一個由學生所創立， 結合生活與文藝的全方位社團。從文學發端，自創社以來， 出版了16刊融合文學，藝術，攝影和創作為一體的中文雜誌 leMook。 leMook是溫哥華唯一一本致力於挖掘學生才華，展示中文魅力的雜誌。在2010年，本社成功舉辦第一屆17刊《浪漫主義》的徵文比賽，並提供展示自身才華及切磋交流平臺之宗旨，現展開第二屆18刊《週末主義》的徵稿活動。
此次活動將會以比賽的形式進行，由知名作家、中文教授擔任評委，公平公正地選出優秀投稿作品作為三甲并授予獎項及最高金額100元的獎金。並將受邀出席2012年2月舉辦之頒獎典禮。得獎作品連同其餘佳作，被刊登在2012年出刊的《週末主義》上。

Ministudio is an annual photo shooting event hosted by UBCLE. Every year, photographers join us and utilise this opportunity to showcase or practice their skills. Get your cameras ready for some creative images that you are going to capture from our four crime scene sets this year:

* Cellar
* Album
* Gamble
* Inner World

Members of UBCLE not only draw, read, listen to music, or write poetry, we solve crime cases. A separate department of CSI:LE members have witnessed a crime and intend to solve it with the members of LE. Whether you have the skill or photography or not, as long as theres a camera lens on your hand, the truth can be revealed.

Whether you are a professional photographer or just bring your camera around for fun, we’ve got it all for you! There will be photography instructors as your team leader on the day of the event and they will be there to guide you if you need any assistance! They are part of our detective squad too hence if they seem quite odd to you, don’t worry! It’s part of their job.

Taiwan’s Government Information Office (GIO) Minister Philip Yang unveiled the online contest “Say Hi to Taiwan with Your Photo and Win a Trip!” Shown at the press conference was a short film featuring the minister which highlighted Taiwan’s night markets in all their culinary splendor. The film has since been uploaded to YouTube and can be viewed on the Taiwan E-Government Portal at http://www.taiwan.gov.tw.
