Taiwanese Film Festival is here again!

We sincerely invites you to participate in our TWFF Creative Short Film Contest, a side event of the Third Taiwanese Film Festival. As an effort to promote creative short films and provide a platform for local artists to share their works, we welcome films of any language and setting, and there is no restriction on the filming equipments used. We accept short films from any genre such as drama, documentary, experimental, and animation. All nominated films will be screened during TWFF III at the Vancouver International Film Centre (VIFC), while the winning films will be given a special screening.

The topic for the Contest is “Only Human” in response to this year’s theme. The deadline of the contest is Sunday Jun. 7, 2009. For more details please visit the contest section at twff.ca!

UBCLE aims to create an inspiring and creative atmosphere for our audiences, where they will not only be able to enjoy all kinds of art, but learn its uniqueness in the contemporary lifestyle.

Featuring live music/dance performances, short film/photography/painting exhibition, and yes, booze for all. Food and drinks available at the bar. Come out and feel the vibe at this out-of-the-ordinary pARTy where everyone can get inspired and mingle in style!
